This was the “gateway” into Metallica for me, and I quickly ran out and bought Justice, Master of Puppets, and Ride the Lightning (…And Justice For All still being my favorite album to this day). Such an honor to have my work in Metallica’s catalog among the world’s top artists! I’m very humbled and fortunate to have had the opportunity.

Rivalry Restaurant

The Award-Winning marketing agency McCann of New York hired me to reinterpret the iconic Auburn and Georgia mascots in my own style for graphics that wrapped a massive Chick-fil-A pop-up restaurant on the Georgia/Alabama state line. My artwork was featured in a nationally televised television commercial created by Chick-fil-A to showcase the #RivalRestaurant marketing event. Chick-fil-A was so happy with the artwork I created, they printed the artwork on signage, apparel, and giant wooden cut-outs at the event.

Brand Mascot

The Social Media app, Discord, hired me to turn their beloved mascot character, Wumpus, into a live, costumed mascot! I drew many different drafts for the client, experimenting with different proportions, while communicating with the costume company on the best ways to bring him to life.

Mascot concepts for 2020 Get-Out-The-Vote Campaign

Mtv hired me to design a series of Costumed Mascots for an upcoming get-out-the-vote campaign for the 2020 election (which was unfortunately cancelled due to COVID).

I created a series of rough concept sketches based on their direction, and made revisions based on their feedback. We arrived at three separate directions that I brought to full color, and began drawing a 3D-turnaround drawing for the Costume company to use as reference to build the costume.

Would have loved to see this one come to life! Such a thrill to work with Mtv, a brand that practically raised me in the 90s.

Remake of classic Pinball Machine Funhouse

Funhouse Remake artwork I drew or Pedretti Pinball’s new remake Pinball machine of Funhouse. It was so much fun reimagining the classic Funhouse artwork in my style, featuring Rudy outside the funhouse, and new characters. I tried to add easter eggs, and tie in elements from Pedretti’s popular Funhouse 2.0 kits into the artwork.

Back to the Future Caricature Tribute drawn for Cartoons Magazine’s August 2025 Cover of Doc and Marty flying in a DeLorean by the Clock Tower as it gets struck by lightning

Super humbling to be able to work for one of my childhood heroes, the late Hulk Hogan. They hired me to create a series of tribute illustrations to the late Andre the Giant commemorating their famous face-off. Very easy guy to work with, and tons of fun, BROTHER!

Self Control Zone

This was a unique project! I was hired to create artwork for a TV PSA commercial in South Carolina advertising helpful resources for people with gambling addictions. The Art Director hired me to create artwork for an imaginary pinball machine that showed mischievous gremlins wrecking havoc on all aspects of a woman’s life (a metaphor for the addiction). The artwork was then added to a 3D model of a pinball machine, and animated to follow the pinball as it bumped into different areas of conflict following the narration. This aired on TV! I’m very proud of this project.

The Shadow

Illustration I created a while back for an Official line of The Shadow merch, based on the comic book series – Set up for limited-color silk-screen. Had a lot of fun with this series – very challenging.

Mascot Design

I was hired to help design the Mascot for Jason Kelce’s ESPN tv show, “They Call It Late Night.” This was part of a funny skit on the show that aired January 18th.

The mascot was built from a drawing created by Kelce’s young daughters, who named it “Dragon McFartFartButtButt.” My part involved helping transform the girls’ hilariously creative and random drawing 2D drawing into a 3D turnaround drawing that the costume company could interpret.

The costume was built by the fantastic Maydwell Mascots in Canada, and they did a terrific job.

I designed several different skateboards for Tony Hawk’s Signature Series skate line. He’s an absolute legend, so it was an honor to do this for him.

California, 2020

The fantastic jam band Umphrey’s McGee commissioned me to create this super fun silk-screened gig poster for their Oakland, LA, and Terrapin concerts in early 2020. However, because 2020 was an unending dumpster fire, these shows were canceled (along with most everything else). I’m so glad the band has decided to release the posters to the world, regardless. I can’t wait to work with them again when life returns to normal! This design sprung from the idea of someone walking a freakish mutant pet – an amalgam of different animals and insects. The Art Director thought it would be fun to make the character walking the dog a homage to Gritty (the Mascot of the Philadelphia Flyers that I was commissioned to design).

Mascot Designs

I was thrilled to work with Boy Scouts of America illustrating their Bear, Wolf, and Tiger mascots for a catalog that went out to all troops nationwide. We created illustrations that blended real studio photos of kids in Boy Scouts gear, and drawn into a comic book background. The marketing team hired me to reinvent the existing mascot illustrations in my own style. I was a Cub Scout long ago, so it was a lot of fun to leave a little mark on the organization.

T-Shirt Design Series

T-Shirt designs I illustrated for Hard Rock Cafe, in conjunction with Tremendous Graphics. I had the privilege of designing the shirts for many iconic cities for each of the Hard Rock shops from all over the world, including Tokyo, Miami, Yankee Stadium, Amsterdam, and more. It was a fun challenge to squeeze in so many different elements, while trying to keep the design from becoming too busy.
